IELTS for immigration
In Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK, IELTS is accepted as proof of English language ability for study, employment, and immigration.
Below is a list of the different IELTS standards that each nation has established. The minimum score criteria will also change depending on your visa’s requirements and the location of your intended study or employment.
Australia
The Department of Home Affairs accepts IELTS for a variety of visa types as well as for Australian permanent residency. Some Australian professional associations and accrediting organizations also demand it.
IELTS score of six is required for Australian immigration.
Canada
